What is St. Romanos Press?

St. Romanos Press

St. Romanos Press is a small (our oldest sons suggested we emphasize “small”) family business. We are members of All Saints of America Mission in Homer, Alaska under the care of Fr. Paul Jaroslaw and under the omophorion of His Grace, the Right Reverend JOSEPH, Antiochian Orthodox Bishop of Los Angeles and the West.

We, like many, have been on a long journey these last 30+ years from Protestant Evangelical backgrounds to embrace the fullness of the True Faith (Orthodox Christianity) and participate in the Life of Christ and His Church. We are indebted to many more experienced in this Faith and who have given us spiritual direction along the way. We ask your prayers as we embark on this new venture.

Our desire is to provide information, examples and some of the tools we have found useful in our labor to learn and teach more about traditional Orthodox music and its ancient forms and to join the struggle to transplant it into English. We hope you find something useful and we would appreciate any suggestions, comments, corrections and contributions you may have. (see feedback)

Through the prayers of our holy fathers, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us and save us.
